On Mother’s Day, May 8th, Elks Lodge #73 officers, members and guests gathered together to celebrate and remember their mothers, past and present.  Mothers were treated to a free breakfast.  The event was open to the public and well attended,

The ceremony that followed was moving and heartfelt.  Attendees were presented with red and white carnations in honor of their mothers and treated to a musical montage honoring mothers everywhere.  Thanks to an anonymous donor for covering the cost of the breakfasts.  And thanks to the officers and volunteers who helped make Mother’s Day at the Elks #73 so special.
